That was riders error for that corner.
That was a tight corner for sure, but not impossibly tight.
Also the team briefings in the morning should cover the last few km’s obstacles.
They also got that radio they insist gives them safety advice.

why do viviani and visconti ultimately get relegated? viviani’s sprint looks to be in a pretty straight line. maybe slightly veering left but otherwise he’s in a straight line.

skid braking isn’t for road race :)

Riders error? That’s stupid. A turn like that in the last km… it’s a bloody peloton. That was the mistake.

ZeCyBjK July 31, 2010 at 3:23 am

Bad…

EuropeanCyclist July 31, 2010 at 4:06 am

it’s the riders fault he locked the rear wheel and he high sided, riders error.

KevinYohanUm July 31, 2010 at 4:20 am

Poor organization of the race by the officials… That turn was just asking for a huge crash.

EuropeanCyclist July 31, 2010 at 4:46 am

hopefully nobody got hurt and everybody is fine, that’s the good news.
